What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF B4035 PAXFORD ROAD (BLOCKLEY PARISH), COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4035 Paxford Road from its junction with Clay Lane to outside the property known as ‘The Lilacs’ for a distance of approximately 859 metres.
The road is to be closed for maintenance works for Openreach.
The road is expected to be closed daily between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 from 23rd September 2024 until 24th September 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is later. Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian and emergency access to adjacent properties will be maintained.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
400722 LOWER PARK STREET (STOW ON THE WOLD PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400722 Lower Park Street from outside the property known as ‘No. 1’, to outside the property known as ‘No. 4’, for a distance of approximately 47 metres.
The reason for the closure is for water service connection works.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 400359 BELL LANE (BLOCKLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICTGloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400359 Bell Lane from its junction with Station Road to outside the property known as ‘The Pumping Station’ for a distance of approximately 157 metres.
The reason for the closure is for Openreach to renew overhead cabling.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme, commencing 5th October 2024, where the presence of approved signage will indicate where the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. The scheduled Order allows for the closure and restriction of the said roads in any order, as per the programme, and is anticipated that all works will be completed by 31st October 2025. Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400648 Victoria Street from outside Charward Gardens to outside the property known as ‘Candlemass Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 45 metres.
The reason for the closure is for mains water repairs.
The road is expected to be closed daily between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 from the 7th October 2024 until the 8th October 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is later. Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400513 Furze Lane from the Stub Station to Ebrington Footpath 14 for a distance of approximately 140 metres.
The reason for the closure is for water apparatus installation works.
