ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF SALISBURY ROAD SERVICE ROAD

PART OF CLARENCE PLACE

PART OF RUSSELL PLACE MALTBY ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for periods of time between Wednesday 25th. September and Monday 21st. October 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there are no alternative routes for vehicles affected by the order.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Gas main renewal).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Salisbury Road service road serving property numbers 21 to 35.

(ii)   Clarence Place from its junction with Salisbury Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly and southerly direction.

(iii)   Russell Place from its junction with Salisbury Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly and southerly direction.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF PEAK LANE

PART OF JOAN LANE AND

PARTS OF COPPER BEACH CRESCENT HOOTON LEVITT ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice from Monday 23rd. September until Friday 18th. October 2024 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Gas main replacement works).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Peak Lane from its junction with Carr Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction (the alternative route will be via A631 Rotherham Road, Cumwell Lane, Kingsforth Lane, B6060 Woodhouse Green, Sandy Lane, Laughton Road, Rotherham Lane, High Street, Hooton Lane, High Hooton Lane and vice versa).

(ii)   Joan Lane from its junction with Hooton Lane for a distance of approximately 150m in a south westerly direction (there is no alternative route, access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles).

(iii)   Copper Beach Crescent from its southern junction with Joan Lane for a distance of approximately 90m in an easterly direction (the alternative route will be via Joan Lane, Copper Beach Crescent and vice versa).

(iv)   Copper Beach Crescent from its northern junction with Joan Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in an easterly direction (the alternative route will be via Joan Lane, Copper Beach Crescent and vice versa).

CROSSFIELD DRIVE WATH UPON DEARNE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Crossfield Drive from its junction with Campsall Field Road to the end of the  cul de sac for periods of time between Monday 23rd September and Friday  27th September 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Electric cable renewal).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF KID LANE FIRBECK ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Kid Lane, Firbeck from a point approximately 115m south east of its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a south easterly direction from Monday 23rd September until Friday 27th September 2024. NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is Via New Road, Penny Hill, B6463 Lamb Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (repairs to water apparatus).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Brandsmere Drive from its junction with Gildingwells Road to its junction with Oakland Close on Monday 23rd. September 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, limited access will be maintained.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF OAK ROAD WATH UPON DEARNE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Oak Road from its junction with Poplar Drive to its junction with Elm Way on Saturday  28th. September and Sunday 29th. September 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are  proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of telecom  apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH 3 HARTHILL SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No. 3 Harthill commencing from a point at its junction with 

Carver Way and proceeding in a westerly then southerly direction around 

Harthill reservoir to a point at its junction with Public Footpath 30 Harthill at  Grid reference SK 4869 8026 from Sunday 22nd. September until Monday  30th. September 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians is via the  section of Public Footpath No. 3 Harthill along the eastern side of the  reservoir.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (Canal & River Trust will be undertaking construction work at the reservoir, including the decommissioning and construction of a new spillway. The footpath needs to be closed for the works  to take place safely along the reservoir embankment which is narrow with  steep slopes).

(AMENDMENT NO. 93) ORDER 2024

One Way Street Sunny Lane (part) Waverley Rotherham

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the borough of Rotherham proposes to make the abovementioned Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the order if implemented will be to introduce to Schedule 17 ‘One Way Streets’ of The Rotherham Borough Council (The South Yorkshire County Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Traffic Measures Consolidation) Order 1985 to the part of road specified in the Schedule to this notice;

One Way Streets Sunny Lane (part) Waverley

From a point 85m west of its junction with the extended western kerbline of Stephenson Way in a generally easterly direction until it meets Stephenson Way.

Exemptions will apply to the restrictions for emergency service vehicles and cyclists. Copies of the proposed Order a map showing the length and side of the roads affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the Council’s Offices at the address shown below. Objections to the proposed Order and other representations relating to it can be sent to the undersigned (quoting reference NF/73337, e-mail Legal-TRO@rotherham. gov.uk) at the address shown below and must be received by the undersigned no later than the 11th. October 2024. All objections and other representations must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
