What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTION 90 A-F

WEST PARK ROAD, HEALEY LANE, DEIGHTON LANE, TRAFALGAR STREET AND THROSTLE NEST, BATLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kirklees Council propose to introduce the following traffic calming features on West Park Road, Batley.

Feature 1 –Three speed cushions on West Park Road: From a point 5.5 metres north-east from the gable end of house no.32 in a north-easterly direction

Feature 2 – Tapered edge plateau on West Park Road: From a point 12.5 metres north-east from the junction of Trafalgar Street in north-easterly directionA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kirklees Council propose to introduce the following traffic calming features on Healey Lane, Batley.

Feature 3 – Three speed cushions on Healey Lane: From a point 18.5 metres north-west from the boundary between house no.110 and no.112 in a north-westerly direction.

Feature 4 – Two speed cushions on Healey Lane: on each approach of the traffic island from a point 20.5 metres and 31 metres from the boundary between house no.155 and no.117 in a north-westerly direction.

Feature 5 – Tapered edge plateau on Healey Lane: From a point 14.5 metres south-east from the eastern boundary of house no.90 in a south-easterly direction

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kirklees Council propose to introduce the following traffic calming features on Deighton Lane, Batley.

Feature 6 –Three speed cushions on Deighton Lane: From a point 9 metres north from the boundary between house no.49 and no.51 in a northernly direction.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kirklees Council propose to introduce the following traffic calming features on Trafalgar Street, Batley.

Feature 7 – Kerb to kerb plateau on Trafalgar Street: From a point 25 metres north-west from its junction with Throstle Nest in a north-westerly direction.

Feature 8 –Three speed cushions on Trafalgar Street: From a point 9.5 metres north-west from the boundary between house no.9 and no.13 in a north-westerly direction.

Feature 9 – Three speed cushions on Trafalgar Street: From a point 7.5 metres south-east of the boundary between house no.68 and no.66 in a south-easterly direction.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kirklees Council propose to introduce the following traffic calming features on Throstle Nest, Batley.

Feature 10 – Road Hump on Throstle Nest: From a point 19 metres east from its junction with Trafalgar Street in an easterly direction.

Feature 11 – Road Hump on Throstle Nest: From a point 13 metres east from the projected kerbline southeast of the western junction of Woodhall Drive in an easterly direction.

Feature 12 – Road Hump on Throstle Nest: From a point 8 metres east of the boundary between house no.23 and no.25 in an easterly direction.

Feature 13 – Road Hump on Throstle Nest: From a point 13 metres west from the projected kerbline southwest of the eastern junction of Woodhall Drive in a westerly direction. Speed Cushions will be 75mm high, 3.5m in length and 1.6m in width. They will be equidistant at 0.675m between each cushion and a minimum inset from the kerb line of 0.75m. Road Humps will be 75mm high, 900mm wide and will have an equidistant of 75mm inset from kerb lines.

Free Draining Plateaus will be 75mm high, 9m in length and approximately 8m or 11m in width.

Kerb to kerb plateau will be 75mm high, approximately 9m in length and approximately 7.5m in width.
