B987 Kintore Junction & B994 Junction with Morrison Way - Temporary Road Closure

B987 - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (B987 Kintore – 24.09.24)
(Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2024” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 24.09.24 for 12 days and  will prohibit any person from driving on the B987 Kintore between the junction with the B994 and the junction with Morrison Way.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during the installation off site sewer/surface water drainage. An alternative route is available via the

B994 to Gauchhill Roundabout, Gauchhill Roundabout to B977 Gauchhill Road, Gauchhill Road to B987 and vice versa.
