The County of Cornwall (Post Box Row, Higher Brea, Brea and Tincroft Road, Carn Brea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Carn Brea. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th October 2024 to 21st October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Roads affected - Post Box Row for its entire length and Higher Brea, Brea between the junctions of Post Box Row and Tincroft Road and Tincroft Road, Carn Brea for its entire length.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Higher Market Street Penryn for its entire length.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one- way order The County of Cornwall (Penryn) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1993 Lower Market Street (A.394) - between a point 62 yards northwest of its junction with St Gluvias Street and a point 38 yards north-west of its junction with St Thomas Street and Higher Market Street (A.394) - between a point 38 yards north-west of its junction with St Thomas Street and its junction with Saracen Place .
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out water connection works.
The Order will come into operation on 30th September 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 4th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 2300 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Laity Road, Troon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Troon. This prohibition is necessary for new housing development connection works to SWW network and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Laity Road, Troon between the junction of Pavilion Close and property number 17.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Market Street and Church Street for their entire lengths and Arwenack Street between the junctions of Church Street and Quay Hill, Falmouth. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Falmouth) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Market Street/Church Street/Arwenack Street (Class III) between its junctions with Killigrew Street and Quay Hill
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out works to install a rising bollard.
The Order will come into operation on 14th October 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Helston. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th October 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Mawgan, Helston between the properties named Trelow Cottage and Bridge Farm.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Nancegollan, Helston between grid references SW63848 32579 and SW63807 32878 for approximately 321 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out poling works.
The Order will come into operation on 15th October 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 15th October 2024. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penryn. This prohibition is necessary for reinstatement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th September 2024 to 1st October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.
Road affected - New Street, Penryn between the junction of Lower Market Street and property number 19.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st October 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.
Road affected - Poltesco Lane, Ruan Minor between the junctions of Ruan Minor and Glebe Place.
