ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF BRIDLEWAY 37. WHERSTEAD

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing Bridleway 37, Wherstead from Bridleway 37A for 635 metres north westbound to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

There will be no diversion route.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/09/2024 -18/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U54Z7 CHURCH LANE, RICKINGHALL SUPERIOR

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5427 Church Lane, Rickinghall Superior from the junction with the B1113 for 400 metres eastbound to facilitate pole installation and fibre works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Lane, Potters Lane, Common Road, Mill Road South, the A143, the B1113 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/09/2024 - 27/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C216 LINSTEAD ROAD, HUNTINGFIELD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C216 Linstead Road, Huntingfield from Giffords for 150 metres southbound to facilitate overhead cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1123, the B1116, the B1117 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 17/09/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7320 ASSINGTON ROAD, STANSFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U7320 Assington Road, Stansfield from Chalcot for 50 metres eastbound to facilitate pole renewal works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Assington Green, Lower Street, Plough Hill, Lower Green, Assington Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 26/09/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3628 THOROUGHFARE, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3628 Thoroughfare, Woodbridge from the junction with Quay Street to the junction with Lime Kiln Quay Road to facilitate fibre installation works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hamblin Street, Quay Street, Quay Side and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/09/2024 - 07/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3011 LOUND ROAD, BLUNDESTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3011 Lound Road, Blundeston from 30 metres south of the junction with Heath Lane for 1 o metres southbound to facilitate the installation of a new gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Flixton Road, Church Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/09/2024 - 20/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C942 LOWER COMMON, WESTHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C942 Lower Common, Westhall from the railway bridge for 20 metres eastbound and 20 metres westbound to facilitate bridge examination works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hares Lane, Wangford Road, Butts Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10pm on 17/09/2024 - 5am on 18/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C401 FISHPONDS WAY, HAUGHLEY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C401 Fishponds Way, Haughley from the junction with Eve Balfour Way to the junction with wood View to facilitate safety during access to telecommunications pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Fishponds Way, Old Street, Duke Street, The Folly, Tot Hill, Fishponds Way and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 26/09/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C228 King Georges Avenue, Leiston from the junction with Lovers Lane to the Railway Line to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lovers Lane, the B1122, Cross Street, Sizewell Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/09/2024 - 04/10/2024 from 7pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1543 WELL STREET, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1543 Well Street, Bury St Edmunds from number 45 for 20 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Northgate Street, Cadney Lane, Cannon Street and no vice versa

2. Orchard Street, Church Row, Cannon Street, Northgate Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/09/2024 - 27/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Old Barrack Road, Ipswich Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/09/2024 - 30/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF MICKFIELD) (STONHAM ROAD) (C484)

(40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 202-

Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order for the Parishes of Mickfield and Stonham Aspal under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which would be to introduce a 40mph speed limit:

• on Stonham Road (C484) from its junction with Debenham Road (C485), north for an approximate distance of 967 metres

• on Debenham Road (C485) from its junction with Stonham Road (C484), north-east for an approximate distance of 150 metres.

Copies of the draft order, map showing the roads affected and the council's reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday' also at Debenham Library School Comer, Debenham, Stowmarket, IP14 6PL, 9.30am -1.30pm Tuesday; 3pm - 7.30pm Wednesday; 9am -1 pm Saturday and 12pm - 4pm Sunday. And also at Stowmarket Library, Milton Road, Stowmarket, IP14 1EX, 8.30am - 6.45pm Tuesday: 8.30am - 5.45pm Wednesday and Thursday; 8.30am - 6.30pm Friday; 8.30am - 4pm Saturday; 10am - 4pm Sunday.
