Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Moulsford, A329 Reading Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 30 September 2024 Coming into force: 12 October 2024
This Order is being introduced because of railway bridge repair works which are anticipated to be completed 27 October 2024. This will operate between 22:00 and 06:00 hours on the following nights:
12/13.10.24; 24/25.10.24; 25/26.10.24; 26/27.10.24.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the A329 for 965 metres over the bridge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Access for cyclists will be escorted through. The alternative route for traffic is via the A329, A4130, High Road, A4130, A417, A4130, A417, A329 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14207/AC)

Towersey, Windmill Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 30 September 2024 Coming into force: 7 October 2024
This Order is being introduced because of UKPN power supply repair works which are anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the mid-section of Windmill Road between Kingsey Road and Towersey Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via Windmill Road - A4129 - B4012 - Towersey Road - Windmill Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14360/MR)

Little Milton, A329 Stadhampton Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16 September 2024 Coming into force: 23 September 2024
This Order is being introduced because of urgent safety repairs to damaged carriageway and drainage that is anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of A329 Stadhampton Road between Gains Bridge and Gold Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via A329 - A40 - A4142 - B480 and vice-versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14260/MR)
