Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (A448 The Strand, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A448 The Strand from its junction with C2253 Birmingham Road for a distance of 70 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Remedial works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2253 Birmingham Road, A38 Bromsgrove Easter Bypass, A448 Stratford Road, A448 The Strand (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 13 October 2024.
(C2037 Farley Lane, Romsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2037 Farley Lane from its junction with U20603 Winwood Heath Road to its junction with U20213 Newtown Lane.
Reason: Restoration of sunken area to correct profile by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2037 Farley Lane (part), B4551 Bromsgrove Road, C2057 Quantry Lane, C2037 Farley Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 14 October 2024.
(B4090 Droitwich Road, Hanbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4090 Droitwich Road from its junction with C2079 School Road to its junction with B4091 Hanbury Road.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion 1: B4090 Hanbury Road, B4065 Bromsgrove Road, A38 Rashwood Hill, A38 Rashwood Interchange (National Highways), A38 Worcester Road, A38 Redditch Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A448 Bromsgrove Highway, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A441 Rough Hill Drive, A441 Evesham Road, A441 The Ridgeway, B4090 Salt Way, B4090 Droitwich Road (part) and vice versa. (C2045 Stoke Pound Lane, Stoke) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2045 Stoke Pound Lane from its junction with B4091 Hanbury Road to its junction with C2045 Copyholt Lane.
Reason: Carriageway Patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4091 Hanbury Road, C2079 Forest Lane, C2079 Wallhouse Lane, C2079 Sillins Lane, C2060 Green Lane, C2060 Curr Lane, C2045 Copyholt Lane, C2045 Stoke Pound Lane(part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 14 October 2024 and 23 October 2024.
(U22202 Lower Bentley Lane, Bentley Pauncefoot) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U22202 Lower Bentley Lane from its junction with U22203 Black Lake Lane to its junction with U22201 High Elms Lane
Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation work by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U22203 Black Lake Lane, C2045 Copyholt Lane, U22200 Coalash Lane, C2033 Woodgate Road, U22202 Lower Bentley Lane (part) and vice versa.

(C2167 Mearse Lane, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2167 Mearse Lane from its junction with B4188 Hartle Lane for a distance of 70 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion clockwise: B4188 Hartle Lane, A491 Bromsgrove Road (Southbound), A491 Fairfield Roundabout, A491 Bromsgrove Road (Northbound), C2167 Mearse Lane (part). Diversion Anti-clockwise: C2167 Mearse Lane (part), A491 Bromsgrove Road, B4188 Hartle Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 15 October 2024.
(U21219 Santridge Lane, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U21219 Santridge Lane from its junction with U21226 The Flats to its junction with U21218 Bewell Head.
Reason: New Vehicle Crossing (Dropped Kerb) by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U21219 Santridge Lane (part), U21218 Bewell Head, B4091 Stourbridge Road, U21219 Santridge Lane (part) and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 17 October 2024.
(U20002 Fockbury Road, Dodford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U20002 Fockbury Road from its junction with A448 Kidderminster Road to its junction with U20003 Priory Road.
Reason: To renew existing BT pole in verge side by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A448 Kidderminster Road, U21000 Perryfields Road, U21204 Fockbury Mill Lane, U21204 Snakes Lake Lane, U21203 Cockshutt Lane, U20002 Fockbury Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 October 2024.
(U21053 Sherwood Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U21053 Sherwood Road from its junction with C2164 Stoke Road for a distance of 60 metres in a south easterly direction.
Reason: Large hydrant installation in footway by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2164 Stoke Road, U21098 Sherwood Road, U21053 Sherwood Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 13 October 2024.
(A38 Roman Way (Northbound), Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of A38 Roman Way from its junction with A4133 High Park Roundabout (northbound only) to its junction with A38 Westlands Roundabout.
Reason: Carriageway preparation for electrical works for Toucan crossing installation by WCC
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road, A449 Main Road, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak, A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 Waresley to Torton, A449 Worceser Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green, A442 Kidderminster Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00-06:00) between 23 September 2024 and 4 October 2024.
(Lane closure on A38 Roman Way, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of the lane on A38 Roman Way from its junction with B4065 Bromsgrove Road to its junction with A442 Roman Way Westlands Roundabout in a Westerly direction only.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(C2058 Gannow Road, Rubery) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2058 Gannow Road from its junction with A38 Birmingham Road to its junction with Gannow Walk (NSG Ref. 04700417). Reason: Renew damaged signposts by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 Birmingham Road, U21601 Callowbrook Lane, C2057 Callowbridge Road, C2058 New Road, C2058 Legion Road, C2058 Whettybridge Road, C2058 School Road, C2058 Gannow Road (part) and vice versa.

(C2143 New Road, Cutnall Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2143 New Road from its junction with U40009 School Lane to its junction with U40410 Oak Tree Drive.
Reason: Replacement electricity cable by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2143 School Lane, A442 Kidderminster Road, C2146 Broad Common, C2143 New Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 23 September 2024.
(U23210 Ash Lane, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U23210 Ash Lane from its junction with A441 Birmingham Road for a distance of 348 metres in a south easterly direction.
Reason: Utility Work by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A441 Birmingham Road, C2036 Lea End Lane, U23204 Watery Lane, U23205 Stonehouse Lane, U23210 Ash Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 September 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (District of Wychavon - Droitwich area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Blackfriars Avenue, Droitwich]
On 5 September 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and length of road in Droitwich: -
Blackfriars Avenue, Droitwich - From a point 10 metres northeast of its junction with Old Coach Road for a distance of 18 metres in a north easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 26 September 2024.

A38 Westland Roundabout, A38 Roman Way and C2255 Kidderminster Road, Droitwich) (30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to reduce the national speed limit and to impose a 30 mph Speed Limit on the following lengths of roads in Droitwich: -A38 Westland Roundabout - For its entire length C2255 Kidderminster Road - From its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout for a distance of 75m in an easterly direction.
A38 Roman Way (southbound) - From its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout for a distance of 94m in a southerly direction.
A38 Roman Way (northbound) - From a point 103m south of its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout to its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout. There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

(A38 Roman Way, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary 30 & 50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
Order made: to impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A38 Roman Way from its junction with A4133 High Park Roundabout for a distance of 140 metres to its junction with A38 Westlands Roundabout including the roundabout and also a temporary 50 mph speed limit from its junction with A4133 High Park Roundabout for a distance of 1475 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Installation of 2 Toucan crossings over the SW approach/exit to A38 Westlands Roundabout by WCC
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 102 days continuing from 2 September 2024.
