Oxcroft Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
OXCROFT LANE, BOLSOVER
WHEN: 07 October to 01 November 2024.
WHERE: Oxcroft Lane, Bolsover from its Jct. with Mill Lane for a distance of 300m in a northerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate highway reconstruction, widening and resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise - Oxcroft Lane (from point of closure), B6417 Mansfield Road, Marlpit Lane, Welbeck Road, Oxcroft Lane (to point of closure). Anti-clockwise - Oxcroft Lane (from point of closure), Longlands, Welbeck Road, Marlpit Lane, B6417 Mansfield Road, Oxcroft Lane (to point of closure).
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
