What is happening?
Notice of Dedication of a Public Footpath: Highways Act 1980 – Section 25. North Yorkshire Council. Public Footpath No. 15.135/22 Tockwith.
Take notice that under an agreement made on the 26/07/22, with North Yorkshire Council, the right of way described below at Tockwith was dedicated for use by the public as a Public Footpath. The effect of the creation agreement is to dedicate a Public Footpath known as Footpath 15.135/22 (Part) from Grid Reference 44634 45201 running generally east-northeast between trees for approximately 28 metres to the maintainable highway at GR 44636 45202 with a width of 2 metres on a grass surface.

Take notice that under an agreement made on the 21/05/24, with North Yorkshire Council, the right of way described below at Markenfield Hall was dedicated for use by the public as a Public Bridleway. The effect of the creation agreement is to dedicate a Public Bridleway known as Bridleway 15.85/5 from Grid Reference 42943 46727 & running generally southwards for approximately 870 metres to GR 42929 46644 with a width of 4 metres on a grass surface.
