TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 14/10/2024 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 8 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Cadent Gas Ltd to carry out a service connection installation in the highway. The Order will come into force on 21/09/2024 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days which will comprise of multiple weekend night closures. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Network Rail to undertake level crossing maintenance & testing work. The proposed diversion route will be via: Station Rd, Edmonthorpe Mere Wymondham, Edmondthorpe Rd, Ashwell Rd Teigh, Teigh Rd, Whissendine Rd Ashwell, Ashwell Rd Station Rd Whissendine & vice versa.
