ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(CHURCH ROAD, ALTOFTS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 218) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to access chambers for surveying and maintenance to be carried out as follows:–

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Church Road, Altofts between Pearson Street and Edward Street. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Church Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Church Road, Pope Street, Express Way, California Drive, Edward Street, King Edward Street, Altofts Road, Lee Brig, High Green Road, Church Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 22nd September 2024 at 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(CARR LANE, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 204) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for installation of a new electrical connection to be carried out as follows:–

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Carr Lane, Wakefield outside number 1 Carr Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Carr Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion. Road is a dead end. Pedestrian access will be maintained and access for residents will be maintained where possible by use of road plates.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 24th September 2024 to 27th September 2024 or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible
