(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
(A629 HUDDERSFIELD ROAD, SALTERHEBBLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by John Sisk & Sons have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of A629 Huddersfield Road from A629/New Canal Bridge(A629 Stainland Road) to A629/Stainland Road B6112 for a distance of approximately 550 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. Northbound Traffic – Turn left onto new Canal bridge, then right on the roundabout onto Stainland Road. Rejoin A629 utilising Stainland Road B6112. Southbound Traffic – Turn left onto new Canal bridge, then right on the roundabout onto Stainland Road. Rejoin A629 utilising Stainland Road B6112 It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.
(A629 HUDDERSFIELD ROAD (SOUTHBOUND), SALTERHEBBLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by John Sisk & Sons have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of A629 Huddersfield Road from A629 Northbound Elland Riorges Junction to A629 Northbound Stainland Road B6112 for a distance of approximately 2600 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th September 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.
(ASHBOURNE GROVE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ashbourne Grove from its junction with Gibbet Street in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 125 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.
(PROSPECT STREET, BOOTHTOWN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Prospect Street from its junction with A58 New Bank to Portland Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SAVILE ROYD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Savile Royd from side of No.7 to rear of No.10 for a distance of approximately 37 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Rothwell Road, Savile Park Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd September 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(SCARR BOTTOM ROAD/UPPER WASHER LANE/DARCEY HEY LANE/DELPH HILL ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Scarr Bottom Road/Upper Washer Lane/ Darcey Hey Lane/Delph Hill Road from Woodhouse Lane to Edwards Road for a distance of approximately 1040 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Birdcage Hill, Birdcage Lane, A646 Skircoat Moor Road, A58 Rochdale Road, A6142 Pye Nest Road, Edwards Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.
(WITHINFIELDS, SOUTHOWRAM)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Withinfields from outside and opposite of No.27 to No.33 for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th September 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BANK HOUSE LANE, LUDDENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bank House Lane from its junction with Holme House Lane to Wood Cottage for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Booth Hill, Dean House Lane, New Road, High Street, Stocks Lane, Mount Tabor Road, Wainstalls Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 24th September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Gledhill Street from No.14 to No. 22 for a distance of approximately 22 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.
(GOSPORT LANE, OUTLANE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Gosport Lane from side of No.1 to side of Park View Farm for a distance of approximately 100 metres.PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Forest Hill Road, Stainland Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th October 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(THORPE STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thorpe Street from No.11 to No. 17 for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Claremount Road, Boothtown Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th October 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(STAINLAND ROAD, BARKISLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from its junction with Upper Hall Fold to Meadow Croft for a distance of approximately 145 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via B6114 Saddleworth Road, Branch Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 23:00.
(WHEATLEY ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wheatley Road from No.34 to No.44 for a distance of approximately 55 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via A629 Ovenden Road, A629 Keighley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 21:00 & 01:00.
