What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Chilton Rd, Long Crendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chilton Rd for approx. 880M. Alternative route: Thame Rd, Chearsley Rd, Chilton Rd, Crendon Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst failed road re-surfacing works commence on 25th September 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25th September 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(North End Rd, Steeple Claydon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in North End Rd for approx. 428M. Alternative route: Herds Hill, Buckingham Rd, Sandholme, Queen Catherine Rd, Chaloners Hill, West St, North End Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst failed rd resurfacing works commence on 30th September 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30th September 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Lower Rd, Stoke Mandeville) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Lower Rd for approx. 427M. Alternative route: Lower Rd, Mandeville Rd, Old Stoke Rd, Stoke Rd, Walton St, Wendover Rd, Station Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst SEALR project works commence on 7th November 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7th November 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration
