Footpath in Stoke Mandeville - Temporary Prohibition

What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Footpath Nos. 16 & 17, Parish of Stoke Mandeville) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024 made on 24 March 2024, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 22 July 2026. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.16, Stoke Mandeville, from the junction of Public Footpath No.18, Stoke Mandeville to the junction of Public Footpath No.4, Stoke Mandeville. And from Public Footpath No.17, Stoke Mandeville, from the junction of Public Footpath No.16, Stoke Mandeville, to the junction of Public Footpath No.4, Stoke Mandeville. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via the existing Highway.
