CITY OF WESTMINSTER - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES 

Vehicles will not be allowed to wait at any time in any of the below closed roads or roads made one-way. Any vehicle obstructing the road/crane works will be removed. Nothing in the Orders shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform. 

THE FOLLOWING ROADS WILL BE CLOSED TO VEHICLES for road works, all in 2024 unless stated. 
Every effort will be made by the contractor to complete the work as soon as possible. 

Buckingham Gate between Petty France and Victoria Street on 30 November 2024 for Council Carriageway Repairs by FM Conway. Div = Petty France, Broadway, Buckingham Gate, Victoria Street, Palace Street Special Conditions: Order will be valid for 12 months. HIGH67181. 

Duke Street St James’s between Piccadilly and Jermyn Street on 18 - 22 November 2024 for Water Disconnection by MORRISION WATER SERVICES. Div = Piccadilly, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Coventry Street, Haymarket, Pall Mall, Regent Street St James’s, Jermyn Street, Diversion route 2: Piccadilly, Duke of Wellington Place, Grosvenor Place Special Conditions: Order is valid for 2 weeks. Lancaster Place between Strand and Waterloo Bridge on 2 November 2024, for Council Carriageway Repairs by FM Conway. Lowndes Place between Chesham Place and Eaton Place (between 19/09/24 and 30/09/24), 19 September 2024 to 17 October 2024, when closure will move to junction with Chesham Place between 30/09/24 and 17/10/24. 
For Utility: Trial holes in advance of potential additional phase of water mains replacement for Thames Water, due in AMP 8, by Barhale on behalf of Thames Water. We would propose the unclosed sections of road are made two-way so that residents can gain access & egress, between 19/09/24 and 30/09/2419 from Chesham Place, and between 30/09/24 and 17/10/24 from Eaton Place. New Row between St Martin’s Lane and Bedfordbury on 18 - 26 November 2024 for New Water Connection by MORRISION WATER SERVICES. Robert Adam Street and Portman Close between Portman Close will be closed at the jct of Baker Street, Robert Adam Street is a banned right turn onto Baker Street. This is required to facilitate a contra flow on Baker Street on 2, 3 October 2024, back-up dates 16, 17 October 2024 for Utility: Interim to perm reinstatement by Thames Water Utilities Ltd.
