Union Street, Barnet - Temporary Road Closure due to Blockage and Safe Access for Works.

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1)
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNION STREET EN5
The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to the need to facilitate a blockage and to keep safe access for working, they intend to make an Order which will close Union Street EN5 between the northeastern kerbline of The Avenue and a point 41 metres northeast of the northeastern kerbline of The Avenue, while the works take place.
The works will commence on Wednesday 23rd October 2024 at 9.30am and is expected to last for 2 days.
The alternative route for motorists will be via The Avenue, Alston Road, Stafford Road, Stapylton Road and vice versa.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
