Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 to 17th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Road affected - A39 Between Gonvena Hill And Tredruston Road, Wadebridge between Ball roundabout and Tollgate.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bugle. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th September 2024 to 2nd October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Padstow. This prohibition is necessary for new connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th October 2024 to 23rd October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th October 2024 to 18th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th September 2024 to 4th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Junction North Of Beechwood To Whitecross, Bodmin from junction on Road From Hollywood Head To Race Course Road to junction on Access To Penrose.

This prohibition is necessary for interim to permanent reinstatement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 for one day. This prohibition is necessary for ducting and gully sucking works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 to 1st November 2024.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th October 2024 for one day. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for general manhole repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th October 2024 to 18th October 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 1st April 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 48, in the Parish of Tintagel between grid references SX 06630 89244 and SX 06618 89304.

The Order which commenced on the 2nd April 2024 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 12th March 2025 The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 12th September 2024 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a hazardous rock fall.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
