BOROUGH OF TRAFFORD (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING) ORDER 2001 (AMENDMENT NO 257) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Trafford Borough Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to amend the Borough of Trafford (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) Order 2001, as amended, (“the 2001 Order”) by the introduction or removal of restrictions on lengths of A56 Chester Road, A5181 Barton Road, Poplar Road, Chapel Lane, Kingsway, Dorset Street, Sydney Street, Derbyshire Lane, Davyhulme Road East, Longford Road, Thomas Street, Taylors Road, Portland Road, Wesley Road, Cavendish Road, Avondale Road, Ravenswood Road, Chorley Street, Sir Matt Busby Way, White City Circle, Trafford Road, A56 Bridgewater Way, A5014 Chester Road, Brindley Road, A5063 White City Way, A5081 Wharfside Way, Montague Road, Warwick Road, Great Stone Road, Canute Road, Milton Road, Talbot Road, Christie Road, Bridgewater Street, Radnor Street, Edge Lane, Newton Street, Crossford Street, Green Street, Stretford and Old Trafford, in order to introduce Red Route restrictions along those lengths of road and A5081 Wharfside Way, A5081 Village Circle, A5081 Village Way, A5081 Parkway Circle, A5081 Parkway (Including all Slip Roads) and Westinghouse Road free-flow slip road to southwest bound carriageway of Parkway, Trafford Park, in order to introduce Red Route Clearway restrictions along those lengths of roads.
The Order will come into operation on 19th September 2024 and a copy, together with a map showing the lengths of road to which it relates may be inspected at Stretford Library during their normal opening hours and online at: www.trafford.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may, within six weeks from 18th September 2024 apply to the High Court for that purpose.

THE BOROUGH OF TRAFFORD (IRLAM ROAD, FLIXTON) (20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT)(EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Trafford Borough Council made the above-named Order under Sections (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to impose a 20 m.p.h. speed limit on two additional lengths Irlam Road and a length of Woodsend Crescent Road, Flixton.
The Experimental Order will come into operation on 19th September 2024, for a period of 18 months and a copy of the Order, together with a statement of reasons and a map showing the lengths of road referred to, may be inspected at the main reception desk at Urmston Library during the normal opening hours.
Within a period of 6 months from the coming into force of the Order, or if the Order is subsequently modified or varied, from the coming into operation of that modification or the variation (whichever is the latest), any person may object to the making of the Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation.
Any objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be sent, in writing, to the undersigned.
The Council will be considering, in due course, whether the provisions of the Order should be continued in force indefinitely.

BOROUGH OF TRAFFORD (ROTHIEMAY ROAD AND BROOKLYN AVENUE, FLIXTON) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)(EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Trafford Borough Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit driving on short lengths of Rothiemay Road and Brooklyn Avenue, Flixton.
The Experimental Order will come into operation on 19th September 2024, for a period of 18 months and a copy of the Order, together with a statement of reasons and a map showing the lengths of road referred to, may be inspected at the main reception desk at Urmston Library during their normal opening hours and online at www.trafford.gov.uk/ trafficregulationorders Within a period of 6 months from the coming into force of the Order, or if the Order is subsequently modified or varied, from the coming into operation of that modification or the variation (whichever is the latest), any person may object to the making of the Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation.

PUFFIN CROSSING
SECTION 23 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Trafford Borough Council proposes to provide puffin crossing facilities as follows:
Carrington Road, Flixton, approximately 25 metres southwest of its junction with Church Road and Carrington Road, Flixton, approximately 10 metres northeast of its junction with Morris Grove.
