WAITING RESTRICTIONS, REDUCTION AND REMOVAL

OF PARKING SPACE TO ACCOMODATE WIDENED FOOTWAYS AND GREENSPACES

The Waltham Forest (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment *) Order 202*

1. NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be in St Andrews Road E17 (StA) (section between Higham Hill Road and No. 36 St Andrews Road) to:

(a) north side, extend parking space for BLN permit holders (ph) only between Lowther Road and Church Road by 11.2m and remove double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions (dyls) by the same distance (increase of parking space at either end of the bay); and

(b) south side,

i) reduce 9 metres (m) of dyls outside No. 36 StA and replace with parking space for BLN ph only operating Mon-Sat 8am to 6.30pm;

ii) remove the whole parking place for BLN ph outside No. 44 and 56 StA and replace with dyls;

iii) remove all parking places for BLN ph between Hillyfield and Oatland Rise and replace with dyls; and

v) convert 20.3m of free short stay parking to a parking place for BLN ph only operating Mon-Sat 8am to 6.30pm between Oatland Rise and Higham Hill Road.

3. A copy of each of the Orders, the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and effect of the Orders can be inspected until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, on request by either emailing trafflc.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk, or visiting (*by appointment) the Highways and Traffic Management office low Hall. Argall Avenue E10 7AS during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; or alternatively documents can be viewed online at: www.walthamforest.gov.uk/content/road-traffic-schemes-and-consultations.

4. Any person desiring to object to the Orders mentioned should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS or by emailing: traffic.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk quoting reference T62b(24) - public realm and parking amendments St Andrews Rd phase 2 by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
