What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDLE PATH, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bridle Path, Watford from a point 44m north east of its junction with St Albans Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON ROSSLYN ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of road ("the lengths of Road") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rosslyn Road, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards to its junction with Halsey Road, a distance of approximately 59m, except for access. An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, A4178 Cassio Road, Upton Road and Rosslyn Road.
2. To temporarily suspend the existing one way traffic system on Rosslyn Road, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards to its junction with Upton Road, a distance of approximately 277m to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GARSTON LANE, MERIDEN/THE GOSSAMERS, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Garston Lane, Meriden/The Gossamers, Watford from its junction with Bramfield north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Falcon Way, a distance of approximately 104m ("the length of Roads"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Garston Lane, A412 St Albans Road, A41 North Western Avenue, Westlea Avenue, Meriden Way, York Way and The Gossamers.
The Order is needed because railway bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the length of Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CASSIOBURY PARK AVENUE, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the eastbound carriageway of Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford from a point 30m north west of its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards to its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road, a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Cassiobury Park Avenue, Shepherds Road and A412 Rickmansworth Road.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ST GEORGES ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of St Georges Road, Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Fuller Road, a distance of approximately 199m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks, Longspring and Fuller Road.
The Order is needed because utility asset works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LANGLEY ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the northbound carriageway of Langley Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Hempstead Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A411 (Hempstead Road/ Hyde Road), The Avenue, Stratford Road and Langley Road. The Order is needed because telecoms maintenance works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF OLD HOUSE LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Old House Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Bucks Hill north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Langleybury Lane, a distance of approximately 1700m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Fir Tree Hill and Langleybury Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BERRY LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Berry Lane, Chorleywood from a point in line with the eastern boundary of 'Laverton' south westwards for a distance of approximately 234m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Berry Lane, Common Gate Road, Chorleywood Bottom, Hubbards Road, Furze View, Rendlesham Way, Stag Lane and Berry Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF TOMS LANE, KINGS LANGLEY) ORDER NO.4 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Toms Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with Primrose Hill north eastwards for a distance of approximately 100m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Primrose Hill, Station Road, Gallows Hill, Gallows Hill Lane, High Street, Bedmond Road, High Street and Toms Lane.
The Order is needed because the renewal of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Toms Lane, Kings Langley from a point 120m north east of its junction with Primrose Hill north eastwards for a distance of approximately 35m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Toms Lane, Primrose Hill, Station Road, Gallows Hill, Gallows Hill Lane, High Street, Bedmond Road, High Street and Toms Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bucks Hill, Sarratt from its junction with Sarratt Public Footpath No.006 south eastwards for a distance of approximately 100m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Bucks Hill, The Common, The Street, Dunny Lane, Poles Hill, The Green, Dimmocks Lane, Sarratt Road, Redhall Lane, Chandlers Lane, Toms Hill and Bucks Hill.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Canterbury Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Eldon Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 43m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Eldon Avenue, Brook Road, Stratfield Road and Canterbury Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED BETWEEN NO.36 AND NO.38 TOWNFIELD, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated between No.36 and No.38 Townfield, Rickmansworth from its junction with Townfield south eastwards to its junction with A412 Rectory Road, a distance of approximately 72m ("the Footpath").
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south and east sides of Townfield, the footway situated on the north east side of Nightingale Road, the footway situated on the north west side of A412 Uxbridge Road and the footway situated on the west side of A412 Rectory Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 September 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

An alternative route will be via A4125 (Sandy Lane/Watford Road), Eastbury Avenue, Davenham Avenue and Batchworth Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN COLDHARBOUR LANE, BUSHEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coldharbour Lane, Bushey from its junction with Ryder Close north eastwards to its junction with Little Bushey Lane, a distance of approximately 635m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Coldharbour Lane, Herkomer Road, Melbourne Road, A411 (High Street/Sparrows Herne/Elstree Road) and Little Bushey Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
