TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDLEWAY ABBOTS LANGLEY 67
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horse riders, and cyclists from using that length of Bridleway Abbots Langley 67, heading west toward High, for an approximate distance of 60m.
Alternative Route: via Footpath 55, other users via BOAT 72
The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.
The section of Bridleway Abbots Langley 67 will be closed on or after 25 September 2024 for up to 2 days, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B462 WATFORD ROAD, RADLETT) ORDER NO.3 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B462 Watford Road, Radlett from its junction with Gills Hill Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 150m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B462 (Watford Road/Radlett Road), Primrose Lane, Grange Lane, The Green, Aldenham Road, A411 Watford Road, A5183 (High Street/ Elstree Hill North/Watling Street/Cobden Hill/Watling Street), Park Road and B462 Watford Road or via B462 Watford Road, Park Road, A5183 (Watling Street/ Cobden Hill/Watling Street/Elstree Hill North/High Street/Elstree Hill South), the A5183 Elstree Hill South/Centennial Avenue roundabout, A5183 (Elstree Hill South/High Street), A411 Watford Road, Aldenham Road, The Green, Grange Lane, Primrose Lane and B462 (Radlett Road/Watford Road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH FRONTING NOS.108-114 NEW HOUSE PARK, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath fronting Nos.108-114 New House Park, St Albans from its southernmost junction with New House Park north eastwards for a distance of approximately 32m ("the Footpath").
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south west, south east and south west sides of New House Park.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN MANLAND AVENUE, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Manland Avenue, Harpenden from its westernmost junction with B652 Station Road north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B652 Station Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN ST ALBANS) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-
1. that length of Holyrood Crescent, St Albans from its junction with Abbots Avenue West south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Watling View, a distance of approximately 801m.
An alternative route will be via Abbots Avenue West, Trumpington Drive, Maynard Drive, Doggetts Way, Tavistock Avenue and Watling View.
2. that length of Paxton Road, St Albans from its junction with Watsons Walk south eastwards for a distance of approximately 160m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Lower Paxton Road, St Albans from its junction with Paxton Road north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-
1. that length of A1081 London Road, St Albans from its junction with Alma Cut south eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 40m. An alternative route will be via A1081 London Road, A5183 (Holywell Hill/St Stephens Hill/Watling Street), A414 North Orbital Road and A1081 London Road.
2. that length of Alma Cut, St Albans from its junction with A1081 London Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 6m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because gas connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF TOWNSEND LANE, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Townsend Lane, Harpenden from its junction with Douglas Road north eastwards to its junction with Alpins Close, a distance of approximately 188m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Douglas Road, A1081 Luton Road and Townsend Lane. The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B652 Kimpton Bottom, Harpenden from its junction with Plummers Lane north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Common Lane, a distance of approximately 597m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via B652 Bower Heath Lane, B653 Lower Luton Road, B651 Lamer Lane, Kimpton Road, B651 (Ballslough Hill/High Street) and B652 (High Street/Kimpton Bottom).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Royal Road, St Albans from its junction with A1057 Hatfield Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road").
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because mobile crane works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
