Everingham Lane, Hayton - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF
YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC PART OF
EVERINGHAM LANE, HAYTON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part
of Everingham Lane, Hayton during the following period
Wednesday 9 October 2024 between
(09.00 hours until 14.00 hours).
The road closure is necessary to enable Open Reach
works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within seven hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via Everingham Lane, Blamire Lane,
Thorpe Le Street Road, St Everildas Terrace, Main
Street, Common Lane, Hayton Road and Bielby Lane.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access
will be maintained for emergency vehicles, pedestrians
and residents.
