(B819 CROSSHILL ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
On the 17 September 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on the B819 Crosshill Road between its junctions with Cole Road, Bishopbriggs and Boghead Road, Lenzie by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 09.30 hours on Tuesday, 01 October 2024 until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 03 November 2024.
Alternative Routes
The alternative routes will be by way of the B819 Crosshill Road, Cole Road, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Westerhill Road, Wester Lumloch Road, and the B812 Auchinairn Road/Robroyston Road in Bishopbriggs; the B819 Crosshill Road, the B757 Auchinloch Road, and the B819 Lindsaybeg Road in Lenzie; the A806 Initiative Road in Lenzie and Kirkintilloch; and the A806 New Lairdsland Road, the A803 Glasgow Road and Kirkintilloch Road in Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted. Boghead Road, Gallowhill Road, the B757 Lenzie Road, Townhead and Parliament Road in Kirkintilloch will also be sign posted.
