OLD BROMPTON ROAD - PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN INTO CRESSWELL GARDENS

The Kensington and Chelsea (Prescribed Routes) (No. 3) Traffic Order 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on 17th September 2024 Made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit all vehicles except pedal cycles travelling eastwards in Old Brompton Road from turning right into Cresswell Gardens.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come in to force on 24th September 2024 and of all other relevant documents may be obtained via email for inspection by contacting trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk quoting reference “Cresswell Gardens - NRT” and can be inspected at The Council Offices, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, 37 Pembroke Road, London, W8 6PW between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date the Order was made.

4. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
