BACON LANE AND BURNS ROAD: CAR FREE DAY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate the Car Free Day event in Bacon Lane and Burns Road, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in those lengths of:-
(a) Bacon Lane, which lies between the south-eastern kerb-line of Princes Avenue and the north-eastern kerb-line of Roe Lane; and
(b) Burns Road, which lies between the north-western kerb-line of Ashdon Road and the south-eastern kerb-line of St Marys Road, when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.
The prohibitions referred to in (a) above will apply between 10.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. on 20th September 2024 only.
The prohibitions referred to in (b) above will apply between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. on 22nd September 2024 only.
Access to premises in or adjacent to Bacon Lane and Burns Road will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the event and does not compromise the safety of persons attending the event.
Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
