Notice Of Intent To Create A Temporary Traffic Or Der For Planned Works
Affecting: North Acton Road, Park Royal.
Ealing Council intends to make the following temporary traffic order under section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Title of order
This order can be referred to as: Temporary traffic order
for planned works - TT 4380 North Acton Road, Park Royal - 2024.
Reason for order
This order is needed to allow for works taking place on or near the road. These works involve installing a tower crane to the Glencar Development site.
Effect of order
1. North Acton Road will be closed from its junction with Wesley Avenue to property numbers 37 to 38 North Acton Road.
2. The following temporary restrictions on vehicle movements will take effect from 30th September 2024.
(a) No entry into the fully closed section of North Acton Road.
(b) No waiting, loading, or unloading on either side of the carriageway within the fully closed section.
3. The above temporary restrictions and prohibitions will only apply at specified locations where appropriate traffic signs are provided and displayed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual.
4. While the temporary restrictions are in place, displaced vehicles should follow the diversions displayed in place to reach their destinations and comply with any traffic management measures.
5. This Order does not apply to:
(a) anything done at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer (PCSO).
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance.
Date order will come into force. 30th September 2024
Maximum duration of order This order will expire on 29th March 2026 or, on completion of the works, which is expected to be 1st October 2024, whichever is sooner.
Back up dates have been provided for in this order in the event of the first attempt not going ahead. Dates are 7th & 8th October 2024.
