Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance. This prohibition is necessary for electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st October 2024 to 4th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1800 and 2200, weekdays only. Road affected - Causewayhead, Penzance between the junctions of Taroveor Road and Bread Street.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Ives. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 to 18th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Dove Street, St Ives between grid reference SW51689 40357 and property number 10.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd October 2024 to 3rd October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Fore Street between the junctions of Leys Lane and Turnpike Hill and Turnpike Hill for its entire length, Marazion.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Upton Towans, Hayle between grid reference SW58201 40390 and SW58239 40317 for approximately 81 metres and 30 MPH over an area of highway being Upton Towans, Hayle between grid reference SW58239 40317 and SW58276 40166 for approximately 161 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out cabling works. The Order will come into operation on 17th October 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th October 2024. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
