Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
A264 ASHURST HILL, ASHURST, TN3 9TW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow railway bridge works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A264 Ashurst Hill, Ashurst, on or after 25th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the level crossing, between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A264 Ashurst Hill, A264 Watch Oak Hill, A264 East Grinstead Road, A264 Colestock Road, B2026 Edenbridge Road, B2110 Castlefields, B2110 Withyham Road, B2110 Groombridge Hill, A264 Ashurst Road, A264 Ashurst Hill and vice versa.
BEECH LANE, MATFIELD, TN12 7HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beech Lane, Matfield, on or after 25th September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Benbrock. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Beech Lane, Cryals Road, A21 Hastings Road, Beech Road and vice versa.
BROOM LANE, LANGTON GREEN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Broom Lane, Langton Green, on or after 26th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the Sewage Treatment works to Broom Park, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
he alternative route for any through traffic is via Broom Lane, A264 Langton Road, Tea Garden Lane, High Rocks Lane, Hillswood Road, Broom Lane and vice versa.
DRAPER STREET, TUNBRIDGE WELLS TN4 0SQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new gas connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Draper Street, Tunbridge Wells, on or after 7th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside New Parm Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Draper Street, Sheffield Road, A26 London Road, Pennington Road and vice versa.
ETHERINGTON HILL, SPELDHURST TN3 0ND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Etherington Hill, Speldhurst, on or after 22nd September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Lower Green Road and Stockland Green Road, between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Speldhurst Hill, Langton Road, Speldhurst Road, The Green, A264 Langton Road, A264 Bishops Down, A264 Mount Ephraim, A26 Mount Ephraim, A26 St Johns Road, Speldhurst Road and vice versa.
LAMBERTS ROAD, DOWDING WAY & NORTH FARM ROAD, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & NO LEFT TURN) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lamberts Road, Dowding Way & North Farm Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 8th October 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
Dowding Way & North Farm Road will be closed from the of Chapman Way to the junction of Lamberts Way, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Lamberts Way will have a No Left Turn restriction imposed for the duration of the works, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only.
The alternative route for any Dowding Way and North Farm Road through traffic is via North Farm Road, Upper Grosvenor Road, Meadow Road, Goods Station Road, Grosvenor Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A26 London Road, A264 Church Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Tonbridge Road Junction Slip Road, Longfield Road, Dowding Way and vice versa.
The alternative route for any traffic attempting to turn left from Lamberts Road is via Dowding Way, Longfield Road, A21 Tonbridge Road Junction Slip Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, A264 Pembury Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Church Road, A26 London Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, Grosvenor Road, Goods Station Road, Meadow Road, Upper Grosvenor Road, North Farm Road.
MILE LANE, GOUDHURST, TN17 2NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mile Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 25th September 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Holly Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mile Lane, A262 Cranbrook Road, B2084 Chequers Road, Jarvis Lane, Mile Lane and vice versa.
MILE OAK ROAD, BRENCHLEY (TEMPORARY SPEED REDUCTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out a 30mph speed limit will be imposed, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily restrict through traffic on part of Mile Oak Road, Brenchley, on or after 23rd September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
Mile Oak Road will be restricted to 30mph from the junction of Knowle Lane and Mile Oak Cottages.
SPELMONDEN ROAD, HORSMONDEN, TN12 8EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow tree felling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spelmonden Road, Horsmonden, on or after 25th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from The Oast and Orchard Lodge, between the hours of 09:30 and 16:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Spelmonden Road, Rectory Park Road, Brick Kiln Lane, Goudhurst Road, The Heath, B2162 Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.
