Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS, TONBRIDGE & MALLING AND TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREAS
VARIOUS ROADS, TONBRIDGE AND MALLING, TUNBRIDGE WELLS & SEVENOAKS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow the Tonbridge Half Marathon 2024 event to be held, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Various Roads in Tonbridge and Malling, Tunbridge Wells & Sevenoaks.
Closures are planned on 29th September 2024, between the hours of 08:30 and 12:30, with the roads reopened as soon as it is safe to do so. There will be rolling road closures in place around the route as the race progresses.
The following roads will be closed to the extent indicated:-
Brook Street, Tonbridge - Hayesbrook School to Upper Haysden Lane
Shakespeare Road, Tonbridge - Junction with Brook Street
Scott Road, Tonbridge - Junction with Brook Street
Masefield Way, Tonbridge - Junction with Upper Hayesden Lane
Molescroft Way, Tonbridge - Entire Length
Upper Haysden Lane, Tonbridge & Bidborough, Tunbridge Wells - Entire length
Haysden Lane, Bidborough, Tunbridge Wells - Upper Hayesden Lane to Ensfield Road
Ensfield Road, Bidborough, Tunbridge Wells & Leigh, Sevenoaks - Entire length
Lower Green, Leigh, Sevenoaks - Entire length
