Maidstone, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

MAIDSTONE AREA

B2010 LOWER ROAD, EAST FARLEIGH ME15 0JS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2010 Lower Road, East Farleigh, on or after 7th October 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside St. Helens Montessori, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2010 Lower Road, Dean Street, B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Ewell Lane and vice versa.

B2163 UPPER STREET, LEEDS, ME17 1SD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2163 Upper Street, Leeds, on or after 25th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Yew Tree House, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Upper Street, B2163 Leeds Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Sutton Road, Willington Street, A20 Ashford Road, B2163 Penfold Hill, B2163 Lower Street and vice versa.

BUCKLAND ROAD, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITION OF PARKING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow school event to be held, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit traffic on part of Buckland Road, Maidstone, on or after 10th October 2024 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.

A no parking restriction will be imposed for the entire length of Buckland Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

BURBERRY LANE, LEEDS, ME17 1RJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Burberry Lane, Leeds, on or after 25th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of B2163 Lower Street and George Lane during the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Lower Street, George Lane and vice versa.

CHILSTON ROAD, LENHAM ME17 2PL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chilston Road, Lenham, on or after 7th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Royton Avenue. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained.

CLAPPER LANE, STAPLEHURST, TN12 0JT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clapper Lane, Staplehurst, on or after 16th September 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Waysmeet. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Clapper Lane, A229 Maidstone Road, George Street, Clapper Lane and vice versa.

COPPER LANE, MARDEN TN12 9EJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Copper Lane, Marden, on or after 7th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction of Thorn Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Copper Lane, Howland Road, Albion Road, The Wickets, Thorn Road and vice versa.

COX STREET, DETLING (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cox Street, Detling, on or after 7th October 2024 for up to or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Park Valley, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cox Street, Scragged Oak Road, White Hill Road, Cox Street and vice versa.

PHEASANT LANE, MAIDSTONE, ME15 9QZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pheasant Lane, Maidstone, on or after 24th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Boughton Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained.

STILEBRIDGE LANE, MARDEN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stilebridge Lane, Marden, on or after 7th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Oakhurst. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stilebridge Lane, Underlyn Lane, B2079 Maidstone Road, A229 Staplehurst Road, Stilebridge Lane and vice versa.

YELSTED ROAD, YELSTED, ME9 7UT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Yelsted Road, Yelsted, on or after 27th September 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Crest Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Yelsted Road, Hill Green Road,
