THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY

(LOWERCROFT ROAD/BENTLEY GARDENS, BURY)

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the above named Order under sections 1, 2, 3 & 4 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order will be the introduction of No Waiting at Any Time restrictions.

Introduction of No Waiting at any Time - Lowercroft Road: Both sides from a point 21 m north of the northerly kerbline of Wrigglesworth Close to a point 23m south of the southerly kerbline of Wrigglesworth Close.

Wrigglesworth Close: Both sides from the easterly kerbline of Lowercroft Road for a distance of 6m in an easterly direction.

Bentley Gardens: Both sides from the westerly kerbline of Lowercroft Road for a distance of 6m in a westerly direction.

A copy of the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it) with plans showing the roads and areas affected, and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, can be requested via the email Traffic@bury.gov.uk, or the postal address below, quoting reference TM2-23-544.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to TROobjections@bury.gov.uk, or the postal address below, quoting reference TM2-23-544 by 4th October 2024.
