What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(HALIFAX ROAD, HURSTEAD) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING PARKING BAY & TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) – ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;

(i) Temporarily suspend part of the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008 listed below Halifax Road, Smallbridge & Firgrove Ward 
 
Schedule 3.13 – Waiting Limited Mon-Sat 7.30am - 6.30pm 30 Mins. No Return Within 30 Mins. 
 The north-westerly side from a point 86 metres north-east of its junction with Tithe Barn Close to a point 153.30 metres northeast of its junction with Tithe Barn Close.
(ii) Temporary introduce no waiting at anytime along Halifax Road from north-westerly side from a point 86 metres north-east of its junction with Tithe Barn Close to a point 153.30 metres northeast of its junction with Tithe Barn Close.

The Order is required to facilitate a leaking water service within the footway and carriageway.

The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 28th September 2024 until 23:59 on the 29th September 2024.
