Norman Road & Albion Street - Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order
What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(NORMAN ROAD & ALBION STREET, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Norman Road from its junction with Dane Street in a southerly direction of 178 metres & Albion Road for its entire length.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Norman Road from its junction with Dane Street in a southerly direction of 178 metres & Albion Road for its entire length.
(iii) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Albion Road for its entire length.
(iv) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Albion Road for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate Resurfacing of the carriageway within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from weekends only from 08:00 till 17:30 hours on the 5th & 6th, 12th & 13th, 19th & 20th, 26th & 27th of October, 2nd & 3rd of November 2024.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Dane Street, Manchester Road, Manchester Road Old Section, Sparth Bottoms Road & vice versa.
