Close Nether Haddon bridleway - Temporary Closure

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY PUBLIC RESTRICTED BYWAY
AND BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE
RESTRICTED BYWAY NO.16 (PART),
BRIDLEWAY NO.’S 19 (WHOLE) & NO.20
(WHOLE) NETHER HADDON
AND BRIDLEWAY NO.6 (WHOLE) ROWSLEY
WHEN: 16 September to 14 March 2025.
WHERE: Close Nether Haddon restricted
byway No.16 from its northern point to where it
meets bridleway No.20. Close Nether Haddon
bridleway No.20 and No.19 for the whole
length. Close Rowsley bridleway No.6 for the
whole length.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during
route improvement works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No alternative route is
recommended.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected public
rights of way. The public rights of way will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may
be earlier than advertised. Derbyshire County
Council apologises for any inconvenience
caused while work takes place. Anyone

The County Council has made an Order under
Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
