PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U12147 Prospect Hill, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) and The Borough of Kidderminster (Various Roads) (Consolidation of One-way Traffic, Waiting Restrictions and Weight Restriction) Order, 1971 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U12147 Prospect Hill from its junction with U12156 Worcester Street for a distance of 85 meters in a northerly direction and to temporarily suspend The Borough of Kidderminster (Various Roads) One-way Traffic, Waiting Restrictions and Weight Restriction) Order, 1971 to allow two-way traffic to be able to access to residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Safe access to underground BT structures by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12147 Bromsgrove Road, U12160 Coventry Street, A456 Coventry Street Roundabout, A451 The Ringway, U12148 Green Street, U12150 Dixon Street, U12147 New Road, U12147 Marlborough Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (21:00-06:00). Commencing: 7 October 2024.
(C2082 Cakebole Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2082 Cakebole Lane from
its junction with C2082 Cakebole to its junction with U13611 Church Lane.
Reason: Reinforce of the bank to the edge of the carriageway by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2082 Cakebole Lane (part), C2082 Lunnon Lane, C2018 Clattercut Lane, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green, A442 Doitwich Road, C2014 Curslow Lane, C2082 Cakebole and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 7 October 2024.
(U12122 Birchfield Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12122 Birchfield Road from its junction with U12121 Oakfield Road opposite No 1 to its junction with U12121 Oakfield Road opposite No 14/15.
Reason: Footway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12121 Oakfield Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 33 days between 16 September 2024 and 1 November 2024.
(U11541 Ribbesford Drive, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U11541 Ribbesford Drive from its junction with U11500 Lower Lickhill Road to its junction with U11531 Stagborough Way.
Reason: Lay New Ducting by OCU Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11500 Lower Lickhill Road, U11531 Stagborough Way, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 7 October 2024.
(U11129 Princess Way, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U11129 Princess Way from its junction with U11133 Yarranton Close to its junction with U11132 Vawdrey Close.
Reason: Lay New Ducting by OCU Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11129 Princess Way, U11100 Redstone Lane, U11125 Linden Avenue, U11129 Princess Way and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 7 October 2024.
(U10210 Coniston Way, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U10210 Coniston Way from its junction with U10203 Derwent Drive to its junction with U10209 Bramley Way.
Reason: New ducting installation by OCU Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U10209 Bramley Way, U10207 Laxton Drive, U10203 Derwent Drive and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 7 October 2024.
(U12137 Cobden Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U12137 Cobden Street from its junction with U12135 Woodfield Crescent for a distance of 85 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: New vehicle crossing (dropped kerb) by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12135 Woodfield Crescent, U12136 Crescent Road, A456 Bewdley Road, U12137 Cobden Street (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 8 October 2024 and 10 October 2024.
(U12156 Worcester Street/U12147 Malborough Street (northbound only), Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) and The Borough of Kidderminster (Various Roads) (Consolidation of One-Way Traffic, Waiting and other miscellaneous Restrictions) Order 1974 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 - U2156 Worcester Road from its junction with U12147 Malborough Street
to its junction with U12160 Blackwell Street. Close 2 - U12147 Malborough Street (northbound only) from its junction with U12155 Oxford Street to its junction with U12156 Worcester Road and to temporarily suspend The Borough of Kidderminster (Various Roads) (Consolidation of One-Way Traffic, Waiting and other miscellaneous Restrictions) Order 1974 to allow two-way traffic to access residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Remedial works by KJTM Cads.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12155 Oxford Street, A451 The Ringway, U12160 Blackwell Street.

(B4194 High Street, Bewdley) (Temporary Lane Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of the southbound lane on B4194 High Street from its junction with B4190 Load Street to its junction with U10500 Lax Lane
Reason: Safe working in order to erect and dismantle scaffolding for roof repair by Contract Roofing Services.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(C2189 Boraston Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2189 Boraston Road from its junction with C2021 Heightington Road for a distance of 153 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2021 Heightington Road, C2191 Greenway, C2189 Quarry Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 16 September 2024.
(C2131 Kinlet Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2131 Kinlet Road from its junction with U10000 Station Road for a distance of 120 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Boundary box renewal by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2131 Kinlet Road (part), A4117 Cleobury Road into Shropshire, C2131 Kinlet Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 17 September 2024.
(C2186 Tandys Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2186 Tandys Lane from its junction with U13602 Hill Pool to its junction with C2185 Woodrow Lane.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2185 Woodrow Lane, A450 Worcester Road, C2186 Tandys Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 September 2024.
(U12038 Rifle Range Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12038 Rifle Range Road from its junction with B4549 Sutton Park Road to its junction with U12039 Avon Road.
Reason: Remedial work to repair sunken carriageway surface by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4549 Sutton Park Road, U12030 Spring Grove Crescent, U12039 Avon Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 18 September 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (A450 Worcester Road, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
Proposed order: To impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on that part of A450 Worcester Road from its junction with U13406 Sandy Lane to its junction with C2186 Tandys Lane.
Reason: Removal of existing and installation of new Vehicle Restraint Systems by WCC.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 40 days
(24hrs). Commencing: 7 October 2024.
