Proposed Order: To close that part of C2108 Wadborough Road from its junction with U60007 Stonehall Common to its junction with C2109 Mill Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U50117 Flag Meadow Walk/U50124 Shrubbery Avenue/U50125 Shrubbery Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of

Closure 1 – U50117 Flag Meadow Walk from its junction with C2294 Lansdowne Road to its junction with U51000 St. Georges Lane North.

Closure 2 – U50124 Shrubbery Avenue from its junction with U50117 Flag Meadow Walk to its junction with U50125 Shrubbery Road.

Closure 3 – U50125 Shrubbery Road from its junction with U50124 Shrubbery Avenue to its junction with U51000 St. Georges Lane North for its entire length.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2294 Lansdowne Road, U50116 Lansdowne Road, U50133 Little London, A38 Barbourne Road, U51000 St Georges Lane North and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days (24hrs). Commencing: 7 October 2024.

(B4636 Newtown Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4636 Newtown Road from its junction with U51330 Sherriff Street to its junction with U52022 Ronkswood Crescent.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U51330 Sherriff Street, B4637 Tolladine Road, B4637 Middle Hollow Drive, B4638 Woodgreen Drive, B4636 Newtown Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 Sunday nights (16:30-05:00) between 6 October 2024 and 20 October 2024.

(C2068 Moseley Road, Hallow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2068 Moseley Road from its junction with C2069 Worlds End to its junction with A443 Main Road.

Reason: Uplift of kerbs and gully installations by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A443 Main Road, C2256 Dark Lane, C2256 Sinton Green, C2069 Sinton Green, C2069 Worlds End and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 7 October 2024.

(U62025 The Orchard, Powick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62025 The Orchard from its junction with U62023 The Drive for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: New gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U62023 The Drive, U62025 The Orchard (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 7 October 2024.

(Link Footpath F50278 Ravenhill Close (between No 5 & 7), St. Peter The Great County) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link F50278 Ravenhill Close (between No 5 & 7) from its junction with U52271 Ravenshill to its junction with U52270 Batsford Road.

Reason: Recon work by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52270 Batsford Road, U52271 Ravenshill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days. Commencing: 8 October 2024.

(U51306 Troutbeck Drive, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51306 Troutbeck Drive from its junction with U51229 Ambleside Drive to its junction with U51309 Lindon Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U51229 Ambleside Drive, U51214 Langdale Drive, U51214 Brickfields Road, B4550 Astwood Road, U51306 Tunnel Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 10 October 2024.

(Link Footpath F50277, Batsford Road (side No 21), Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50277 Batsford Road (side No 21), Worcester from its junction with U52270 Batsford Road to its junction with F50333 Old Norton Road/St. Peters Drive.

Reason: 100mm Footway reconstruction & minor civils works by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52270 Batsford Road, U52266 Alton Road, Link Footpath F50280 Norton Road - St. Peters Drive, Link Footpath F50333 Old Norton Road – St. Peters Drive and vice versa.

(U50010 Albany Terrace, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50010 Albany Terrace from its junction with U50001 Britannia Square to its junction with Stephenson Terrace (NSG Ref 45001032).

Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50007 Britannia Square, U50009 Britannia Square, U50001 Britannia Square and vice versa.

(U53113 Trinity Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U53113 Trinity Street from its junction with A38 St Nicholas Street to its junction with U53114 The Trinity.

Reason: Safe access for underground working by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U53115 Queen Street and U53114 The Trinity.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 September 2024.

(U64617 Hollins Lane, Martley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U64617 Hollins Lane from its junction with U64620 St Peters Drive Junction to its junction with U64616 Hollins Lane.

Reason: Sewer works by Shannonside Civil Engineering.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U52309 St Dunstans Crescent from its junction with U52311 Battenhall Road to its junction with U52310 St Dunstans Close.

Reason: New vehicle crossing (dropped kerb).

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U50006 Back Lane South from its junction with U50001 Britannia Square to its junction with U50007 Britannia Square.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50006 Back Lane South (part), U50001 Britannia Square, U50008 Britannia Square, U50007 Britannia Square and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 16 September 2024.

(C2025 Stockton, Stockton on Teme) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2025 Stockton from its junction with A443 Stockton Road to its junction with U64415 Stanford Bridge (Service Road).

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2025 Stockton (part), A443 Stockton Road, B4203 Stanford Bridge, C2025 Stockton and vice versa.

(U43418 Midsummer Meadow, Inkberrow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U43418 Midsummer Meadow from its junction with U43416 Pepper Street for a distance of 44 metres in a westerly direction to its junction with U43416 Pepper Street for a distance of 35 metres in a westerly direction to its junction opposite No 8.

Reason: New vehicle crossing (dropped kerb) by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U50017 Thorneloe Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U50017 Thorneloe Road from its junction with U50033 Fountain Place to its junction with U50020 Barbourne Terrace.

Reason: Vehicle parking and excavation in the carriageway during a customer new supply connection to the water main by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50020 Barbourne Terrace, U50019 Stephenson Road, U50018 Sabrina Terrace and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 14 September 2024.

Order made: To close that part of U50336 Beckett Road from its junction with A449 Ombersley Road to its junction with U50319 Northwick Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50327 Colin Road, A449 Ombersley Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days between 16 September and 26 September 2024.

Order made: To close that part of C2086 Copcut Lane from its junction with C2086 Ladywood Road to its junction with A38 Droitwich Road.

Order made: To close that part of U54122 Sapphire Crescent from its junction with U54121 Brookside Road to its junction with U54123 Penhill Crescent.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50014 Penhill Crescent (past No 180) to Woodstock Road from its junction with U54123 Penhill Crescent to its junction with U54130 Woodstock Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Various Roads, Crowle) (Restricted Roads) Order 2000 (Revocation) and (Various Roads, Crowle) (Restricted Roads) (30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2024

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to extend the speed limit on the following length of road in Crowle to 30 miles per hour:

U42409 Froxmere Road – From its junction with C2078 Church Road in an easterly direction to its junction with U42410 Lower Crowle Road.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Shap Drive & Edgeworth Close, Worcester] and Worcestershire County Council (Honister Drive & Edgeworth Close, Worcester) (No Stopping on School Entrance Markings).

On 29 August 2024, Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Shap Drive (Southeast side): From a point 12 metres southwest of its junction with Honister Drive for a distance of 13 metres in a south westerly direction.

Northwest side: From a point 10 metres northeast of its junction with Windermere Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Edgeworth Close (West side): From a point 10 metres south of its junction with Chedworth Drive for a distance of 36 metres in a southerly direction.

On 29 August 2024, Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school entrance markings Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm as follows:

Honister Drive (North side): From the centre point of its junction with Shap Drive for a distance of 18 metres in an easterly direction and 22 metres in a westerly direction.

Edgeworth Close (Both sides): From a point 46 metres south of its junction with Chedworth Drive around the turning head in its entirety.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 19 September 2024.

Canterbury Road (western arm)

Southeast side: From its junction with Durham Road (western arm) for 10 metres in a south westerly direction; from its junction with Lichfield Avenue (northwestern arm) for 13 metres in a north easterly and 10 metres in a south westerly direction.

Northeast side: From its junction with Norwich Road for 10 metres in both a north westerly and south easterly direction.

Northwest side: From its junction with Peterborough Close for 5 metres in a north easterly direction and 2 metres in a south westerly direction.

Southwest side: From a point 7 metres northwest of its junction with Liverpool Road for 3 metres in a north westerly direction.

Canterbury Road (eastern arm)

North side: From its junction with Westminster Road for 10 metres in both an easterly and westerly direction.

Southeast side: From its junction with Carlisle Road (southwestern arm) for 10 metres in both a south westerly and north easterly direction; from a point 10 metres southwest of its junction with Carlisle Road (northeastern arm) for 5 metres in a south westerly direction and from a point 10 metres northeast of that junction for 5 metres in a north easterly direction.

Both sides: From its junction with Lichfield Avenue crossroads for 10 metres in both a north easterly and south westerly direction.

Durham Road (western arm)

Both sides: From its junction with Canterbury Road (western arm) for 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Lichfield Avenue (northwestern arm)

Both sides: From its junction with Canterbury Road (western arm) for 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Norwich Road

Both sides: From its junction with Canterbury Road for 6 metres in a north easterly direction.

Liverpool Road

Both sides: From a point 7 metres south of its junction with Canterbury Road for 5 metres in a southerly direction.

Both sides: From its junction with Canterbury Road for 5 metres in a northerly direction.

Restrict Waiting between the hours of 8am-5.30pm Mon-Fri on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Order made: To temporarily suspend that part of the bus lane order affecting the highway from its junction with B4636 Newtown Road/Worcestershire Royal Hospital Roundabout to its junction with U52003 Linksview Crescent so that it can be used by normal traffic for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Remedial works for carriageway alterations by Stave-Con.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
