What is happening?

THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (ACRE COTTAGES/ ACRE PLACE/STOPFORD PLACE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:
1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in:
• Acre Cottages - from the junction of Stopford Place to the junction of Acre Place
• Acre Place - from the junction of Acre Cottages to the junction of Portland Road
2. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:
• Stopford Place - for its entirety
The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 14th October 2024 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months
It is anticipated that the gas mains works will commence on the 14th October 2024 until 6th December 2024 24hrs
