CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
NELSON STREET, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Nelson Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Nelson Street from its junction with Croft Street to its junction with Portland Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Croft Street, Manchester Road, Mill Lane, Nelson Street (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 20:00 hours on the 25th September 2024 and remain in force until 05:00 hours on the 26th September 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
