THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(COUNTESS WEAR ROAD, EXETER) ORDER 2024
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 16/9/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 27/9/24. Between the hours of 09:30 & 15:00. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Countess Wear Road, Exeter, (From 27 - 42 Countess Wear Road)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Clockwise: Countess Wear Road, School Lane, Topsham Road Anti-Clockwise: A379 Bridge Road, Topsham Road, School Lane, Countess Wear Road.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: DNH CONSTRUCTION LIMITED ARE TAKING DOWN & REBUILDING A WALL AT 40 COUNTESS WEAR ROAD.

Roads affected: 05126 MALLISON BRIDGE - FOOTWAY FROM WESTERN WAY TO THE QUAY,, EXETER 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - FOOTPATH FROM WESTERN WAY TO THE QUAY - THE QUAY - COMMERCIAL ROAD.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Footpath/Way Closure To Facilitate Investigations & Testing Works For Future Installation Of Foot/Cycle Bridge.
