What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (FOXHILL ROAD EAST AREA, CARLTON)
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024 (7268)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Carlton in the Borough of Gedling: -
Proposed Prohibition of Driving along the following lengths of road:
Chesterfield Street, Carlton (both sides)
• From its junction with Foxhill Road East in a southerly direction for 10 metres.
Deep Furrow Avenue, Carlton (both sides)
• From its junction with Foxhill Road East in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres. Foxhill Road East, Carlton (the north-east side)
• From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with
Deep Furrow Avenue in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction
• From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Rushcliffe Avenue in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction
Foxhill Road West, Carlton (the south-west side)
• From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Chesterfield Street in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction
Rushcliffe Avenue, Carlton (both sides)
• From its junction with Foxhill Road east in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres

The proposals are being introduced to deal with inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junctions.
