Various Roads in Molesey (20 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
On 10 September 2024 Surrey County Council made the above named Order, under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers, which will come into force on 16 September 2024. The effect of which will be to impose a 20 mph speed limit on the lengths of roads in West Molesey and East Molesey in the Schedule to this Notice. The speed limits imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011. Copies of plans showing the lengths of roads to which the Order relates and a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be viewed on-line at www.surreycc.gov.uk/roads-andtransport/policies-plans-consultations/roads-and-transportconsultations (follow the link to Molesey 20 mph Speed Limits proposal). These documents and a copy of the made Order may also be viewed at (1) Molesey Library, The Forum, Walton Road, West Molesey, Surrey KT8 2HX, during normal opening hours; and at (2) Reception, Surrey County Council, Hazel House, Merrow Lane, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 7BQ, by appointment.

Schedule: The entire length of roads except No. 5 as indicated – 
(1) Beauchamp Road (D6918); (2) Seymour Road (D6916); (3) Nightingale Road (6921); (4) Green Lane (D6921); (5) Molesey Park Road (D6917) from its junction with Spencer Road to its junction with Ray Road; (6) Clifton Avenue (D6916); (7) Spring Gardens (D6919); (8) Avern Road (D6919); (9) Langton Road (D6919); (10) Avern Gardens (D6919); (11) Glebelands (D6918); (12) Grange Road (D6920); (13) Grange Close (D6920); (14) Elm Court (D6920); (15) Brende Gardens (D6920); (16) Spreighton Road (D6920); (17) Field Close (D6921); (18) Molesey Park Avenue (D6921); (19) The Wilderness (D6917); (20) Molesey Park Close (D6921).
