Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No 30, Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that on 06/09/24 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013' by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:-
Table - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking Hambleton Road, Norton-On-Derwent, Both sides of road from a point 13 metres Northeast of the centreline of its junction with Chestnut Grove, to a point 8 metres Southwest of the centreline of its junction with Chestnut Grove - Waiting Prohibited at All Times, with Exemptions. Chestnut Grove, Norton-On-Derwent, Both sides of road from its junction with Hambleton Road, to a point 17 metres Southeast of the centreline of its junction with Hambleton Road - Waiting Prohibited at All Times, with Exemptions. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 16/09/24, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Norton Hive Library & Community Hub, 86 Commercial St., Norton, Malton YO17 9ES during normal office hours from 11/09/24 to 18/10/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 06/09/24 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Hungate & Keld Head, Pickering, Order 2024, No. 338 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Hungate & Keld Head, Pickering for a temporary period of 1 week at each location (subject to access to premises) between 01/10/24 & 31/03/25, due to carriageway surfacing works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, York Road, Malton, Order 2024, No. 339 We intend to make this order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the footway on York Road, Malton for a temporary period of 7 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 30/09/24 & 31/09/24, due to repairs to the adjacent wall. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Welham Road & Springfield Garth, Norton, Order 2024 No 340 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Welham Road & Springfield Garth, Norton due to a requirement for clear access during Yorkshire Water works. The max duration of this Order will be from 01/10/24 until 30/06/25 inclusive, however it is envisaged that the restriction will be in place for 6 months during this timescale. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No 29, Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that on 06/09/24 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Schedule 1 - Waiting Prohibited at All Times Except for Disabled Persons' Vehicles Wheelgate, Malton, East side, within the marked out bay on the carriageway, from a point 25 metres north of the centre line of its junction with St Michael Street, northwards for a distance of 6.6 metres - Waiting Prohibited At All Times Except For Disabled Persons' Vehicles. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 16/09/24, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton, Y017 7LJ during normal office hours from 11/09/24 to 18/10/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
