What is happening?

B1505 BROAD LAW ANNITSFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1505 Broad Law Annitsford from its junction with A19 Moor Farm Roundabout to Seaton Burn Roundabout heading southwards for a distance of 185 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st October 2024 until the 1st April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th October 2024 until the 6th October 2024 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st April 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic heading east will be via Broad Law, Dudley Lane, A1171, A19 Moor Farm to Seaton Burn Roundabout.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic heading west will be via A19 Moor Farm to Seaton Burn Roundabout, Broad Law.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out safety scheme signage and road marking works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
