A57 Worksop By-Pass - Prohibition of Movement

What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A57 WORKSOP BY-
PASS, WORKSOP) (PROHIBITED MOVEMENTS AND PROHIBITION
OF ENTRY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024 (1288)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order
under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effects of which
will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from turning right along the following length of road at
Worksop in the District of Bassetlaw:-
 A57 Worksop By-pass, from the exit of the B and Q Distribution Centre onto
the A57 Worksop By-pass

2. Vehicles are prohibited from entering the following length of road at Worksop in the
District of Bassetlaw:-
 A57 Worksop By-pass, from the exit of the B and Q Distribution Centre onto
the A57 Worksop By-pass (west bound)

The order has been introduced to stop vehicles from turning right out the B and Q
Distribution Centre onto the busy A57 dual carriageway. The prohibitions are to prevent
conflicting movements between vehicles turning into the Distribution Centre with those
turning out of the Centre. The restrictions have been introduced as a result of a serious
accident at the junction.
THIS ORDER SHALL COME INTO FORCE ON 17 TH SEPTEMBER 2024
