U6503 Dene View Wansbeck Road- Temporary Road Closure

U6503 DENE VIEW WANSBECK ROAD BACK LANE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6503 Dene View Wansbeck Road Back Lane Ashington from its junction with Wansbeck Road Morven Terrace heading west for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st October 2024 until the 16th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st October 2024 until the 15th October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U6503, U6701 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out civils prep for carriageway resurfacing works . In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
