What is happening?

THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS)
(DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING PLACES AND AMENDMENTS) (P056)
ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect would be as follows:
A) To introduce Parking places for Disabled Persons (Minimum length 5 metres) in the following locations:
Aylen Road (outside no. 135) Balliol Road (outside no. 29)
Braintree Road (outside no. 8) Carnarvon Road (outside no. 22)
Childe Square (outside no. 42) Colesbourne Road (outside no.52)
Courtmount Grove (outside no. 6) Curzon Howe Road (outside no. 42)
Edmund Road (outside no. 42a) Fernhurst Road (outside no. 9)
Florence Road (outside no.1) Knowsley Road (outside no. 12)
Langstone Road (outside no. 58) Langstone Road (outside no. 126)
Langstone Road (alongside 177 Milton Road)
Mayles Road (outside no. 126) Middlesex Road (outside no.27)
Nelson Avenue (outside no. 20) Oliver Road (outside no's 45-47)

B) To remove Parking places for Disabled Persons (no longer required) in the following locations:

Montgomerie Road (outside no.58) Paulsgrove Road (outside no. 43)
Queens Road (outside no.74) Shelford Road (outside no. 88)
Shelley Avenue (outside no. 43) Tangier Road (outside no. 124)
Toronto Road (alongside 86b Kingston Road)
Wordsworth Avenue (outside no.2)

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to
Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9284 1767.
Persons wishing to object to or make other representations with regard to these proposals must do so in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made. Representations must be sent to TROteam@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or by post to TRO team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P056-24, within 21 days of the date of this Notice (i.e. by 3 October 2024) stating the grounds for the objection.
