MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER_ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC140117989: The City of Manchester (Beech Road & Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton Park Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic and Temporary Cycle Lane Closure) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Beech Road and to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Barlow Moor Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Barlow Moor Road, High Lane, Cross Road, Beech Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate duct blockage repairs. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 16th September 2024 to the 18th September 2024. The order shall come into operation on the 16th September 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
