What is happening?
KIRKLEES COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -
SECTION 14
(SANDS LANE, MIRFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Sands Lane, Mirfield from point on the verge near Cotewall Mews to a point approximately 120 metres along
Sands Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
No diversion available
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 16 September 2024
from 21:00 hours and will remain in force until 17 September 2024 to 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period for up to 18 months if necessary)
(WEBSTER HILL/ MILL STREET WEST/ DEWSBURY RING ROAD, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Webster Hill/ Mill Street West/ Dewsbury Ring Road, Dewsbury
- No left or right turn from Webster Hill onto Dewsbury Ring Road and no right turn from Mill Street West onto Webster Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
No diversion required
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 16 September 2024
and will remain in force until 29 September 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(BRADFORD ROAD, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bradford Road, Cleckheaton from its junction with Bradford Road to its junction with A58 M62 J26/M606
Roundabout PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via
Bradford Road, Cleckheaton Road, Taylor Road, Odsal Interchange, Rooley
Avenue, Manchester Road, Odsal Road, Huddersfield Road, Woodside Road,
Whitehall Road, A58 M62 J26/M606 Roundabout
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 16 September 2024
and will remain in force until 19 September 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(SOUTH VIEW DRIVE, BRADFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of South View Drive, Bradford from its junction with South View Road to a point at the end of South View Drive PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
No diversionary route available
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 30 September 2024
and will remain in force until 2 October 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(NEW FOOTPATH (UNNAMED) KENMORE DRIVE, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed In that length of New Footpath (unnamed) Kenmore Drive, Cleckheaton from its junction with Kenmore Drive to its junction with Kenmore View PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via: -
Diversion 1 - Kenmore Drive, Kenmore View, Kenmore Road, Whitcliffe Road,
Vine Street, Milton Terrace
Diversion 2 - Kenmore View, Kenmore Road, Kenmore Avenue, Rooks Avenue
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 30 September 2024
and remain in force until 30 March 2025 (any further extension will require the
permission of the Secretary of State)
(BRADFORD ROAD, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bradford Road, Littletown from its junction with Listing Lane to its junction with Valley Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: -
Diversion 1: Unaffected part of Bradford Road, Leeds Road, Gomersal Road, Oxford Road, Spen Lane, Spen Bank, Dewsbury Road and vice versa
Diversion 2: Listing Lane, Quarry Road, Gomersal Road, Bradford Road and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 30 September 2024
and remain in force until 14 October 2024 overnight every night between the hours of 20:00 to 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(HOPTON HALL LANE, MIRFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hopton Hall Lane, Mirfield from a point outside property no. 45 Hopton Hall Lane to its junction with Cheviot Way PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hopton Hall Lane, Hopton Lane, Jackroyd Lane It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 2 October 2024 19:00 and remain in force for until 3 October 2024 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
