What is happening?

CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL RHONDDA CYNON TAF (STRYD Y CAPEL, PONTYPRIDD) GORCHYMYN (ATAL PARCIO MEWN CILFACHAU PARCIO DROS DRO) 2024

DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cyflwyno’r cyfyngiadau yma er mwyn gosod sgaffaldiau sy’n gysylltiedig â gwaith cynnal a chadw ar do Adeiladau’r Cyngor.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd:

Atal Parcio mewn Cilfachau Parcio i’r Anabl Dros Dro
• Ochr dde-ddwyreiniol Stryd y Capel, o bwynt sydd 37 metr i’r de-orllewin o’i chyffordd â System Gylchu’r orsaf fysiau, am bellter o 12 metr tua’r de-orllewin.

Atal Parcio Mewn Cilfachau Parcio’r Feddygfa Dros Dro
Bydd “Gorchymyn “Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf (Amryw Leoliadau ym Mhontypridd) (Amrywiad, Cyfyngiadau Aros a Chilfachau Parcio’r Feddygfa)” yn cael ei atal dros dro am gyfnod y Gorchymyn hwn lle mae’n cyfeirio at yr eitem ganlynol yn rhan o’r Atodlen:

• Atodlen 5, Eitem 1a – ochr dde-ddwyreiniol Stryd y Capel, o bwynt sydd 27 metr i’r de-orllewin o’i chyffordd â System Gylchu’r orsaf fysiau, tua’r de-orllewin am bellter o 10 metr.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr a cherbydau’r gwasanaethau brys.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i eiddo.

Mae disgwyl i’r cyfyngiadau fod mewn grym rhwng y dyddiadau canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau:

• Rhwng 30 Medi a 25 Tachwedd 2024

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (CHAPEL STREET, PONTYPRIDD) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING BAYS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The restriction is necessary to erect scaffolding in connection with roofing maintenance works to the Municipal Building.

The effect of the Order will be as follows:

Temporary Suspension of Disabled Parking Bay

• The south eastern side of Chapel Street, from a point 37 metres south west of its junction with the Gyratory Road of the bus station, south westwards for a distance of 12 metres.

Temporary Suspension of Doctors Parking Bay

The “Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council (Various Locations in Pontypridd) (Variation, Waiting Restrictions and Doctors Parking Bay) Order 2016” will be temporarily suspended for the duration of this Order where it refers to the following item of the Schedule:

• Schedule 5, Item 1a – the south eastern side of Chapel Street, from a point 27 metres south west of its junction with the Gyratory Road of the bus station, south westwards for a distance of 10 metres

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services.

Access to premises will be maintained.

The restrictions are expected to be in operation between the following dates, or until such time as the works has been completed:-

• From 30th September – 25th November 2024
